Poster Presentations
Posters must remain in place for the designated day they have been scheduled, and Presenters are required to be available at their poster to discuss methods and results with interested Congress delegates at the following times:
Thursday May 6:
Morning (9:30-10:00 AM) and Afternoon breaks (3:00 – 3:30 PM)
Lunch (12:00 – 1:30 PM) Lunch is provided in the area so that you can pick up a lunch before attending your Poster board.
It is essential that you remove your materials immediately at 5 pm because the room will be cleared at that time to make room for the next poster session. Note that if your poster is not removed at the end of the poster period, the Congress staff will discard your material.

Oral Free Communications
Oral free communication sessions are 15 minutes per presenter. This includes 10 minutes of actual presentation time followed by 5 minutes for discussion/questions. The Session Chairs will enforce strict control of your time to allow everyone their allotted time. Oral presentations should follow a similar format as abstracts with sections on background, purpose, methods, results and discussion. You should provide a clear conclusion or summary slide that allows the audience to understand the “take-away” message from your presentation.
The Congress presentation rooms will be equipped with a data projector and laptop computer for PowerPoint presentations. You must bring your final presentation on CD-ROM or USB drive to the Speaker Ready Room (Room 103) at least 4 hours before your presentation so that we can make certain all presentations transfer correctly. For morning presentations, visit room 103 the day before (Wednesday afternoon between 2 and 5 PM for Thursday morning; anytime Thursday for Friday morning). A technician will be available to load your presentation onto a laptop. Please note that the presentation rooms will not be equipped for internet access.
